Lobbying for support from local and International sources HONU supervises activities of the following departments to achieve the above objectives.
Kizibawo Primary school -Government aided under the Church of Uganda Mityana diocese. The school started in 1990 by community people and became Government aided in 1997 currently with a population of 834 pupils.
Kizibawo Vocational Institute. Skills training started in 1999 in Kizibawo Primary school and later the idea was developed into a fully-fledged institute in 2005. It is a private institute supervised by HONU currently with a population of 124 students.
Hope High School- Kizibawo: This was opened in 2023 to address the critical need for Secondary education in the area where school dropout at Primary level had also become rampant. The school is private supervised by HONU currently with a population of 209 students
The social work department caters for programs in Sponsorship for Education giving support with school fees, scholastic materials, welfare support, legal advocacy and counselling for positive behavior change with a population of 295 sponsored children.
Kitokolo Health Centre II. The facility was officially opened in 1994 and is currently operating with services in Outpatient general consultation and diagnosis plus treatment, inpatient services, laboratory, maternity, community health education, immunization, Non communicable diseases and HIV/AIDS programs, plus Ultrasound scan services introduced in 2024.
The facility also supports nutrition boost programs with the malnourished, plus care to the elderly on nutrition and medical. Numbers reached annually are over 5000 people.
Economic Empowerment: This takes care of boosting local income through local savings among self-help groups of small holder farmers, trainings in Agro-business skills, market linkages and farm input support. 5 active groups so far created, 12 beneficiaries of the pigs and 25 for the Beans projects respectively.
Spiritual Ministry: HONU through its support to the local church seeks to realize spiritual transformation through evangelism, discipleship to all the different categories of people within the community and church development. The church has a current active participation of over 100 parishioners.
For sustainability, HONU invests and manages a school canteen, a milling machine and a book making project. The investments also benefit
community people to bring services closer.
